This project stands over 18 inches tall!! The Lions can be played with separately or together as the big robot. The heads all open and close for pretend roaring. I have used flat modeling to make his face. The black lion forms the torso and the head. The heads of the blue and yellow lions can form the feet as well as be moved to be lion heads. I tried to remain true to how his arms would move by adding the articulation points at the elbows, shoulders, and wrists. The heads are removable to fly off to defeat the evil Robeasts. I have included all of the pilots: Keith, Aurora, Pidge, Hunk, and Lance including the original Blue Lion pilot Sven. This project includes all five lions and the pilots of Voltron Force from the 1980's cartoon. I used pictures of toys online for the patterns and color placement. I finally had enough pieces to try, so I did. I have planned on building this project for some time now. Voltron Legendary Defender is owned by DreamWorks Animation, World Events Production, Studio Mir, and Netflix. This was remedied briefly in season 3, but he has since left the team to join the Blades. Unlike previous versions of Keith, he did not start out as the leader and pilot of the Black Lion instead he piloted the Red Lion and was second-in-command under Shiro. Keith is based on the character Keith of the previous Voltron franchises, who in turn was based on the character Akira Kogane of Beast King Go Lion.
